If you have concerns about meningitis, we advise you contact the Sussex Health Protection Team on 0344 225 3861. For out-of-hours urgent enquiries, call 0844 967 0069. If you are assessed to be at risk, you will be contacted directly by the public health team. If you have not been contacted, it is unlikely that medication will be required.
